Roger A. Siggins, 83, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2021 at the Warren Manor.
Roger was born August 23, 1937, to the late Robert and Magdalene Lawson Siggins. Roger attended Warren Area High School. His first job was a meat cutter at the Nation Wide store at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East Street. He went on to driving truck for Inter Electric Corp, and then was employed by the National Forge from 1965 to 1970.Roger then became a City of Warren Firefighter until his retirement in January 1996. While employed at the fire department he became a mechanic, a Lieutenant and an EMT. His retirement jobs included Red Oak Campground and the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home.
Roger was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion Post 135, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycle riding. He also enjoyed woods riding on his four-wheeler. He spent hours in his workshop, where he created projects for his friends and family. Roger had many friends and loved being with his family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Roger is survived by his wife, Nancy Lowe Siggins, whom he married on November 14, 1970. They have one daughter, Tracey Westmoreland and her husband Brandon, of Mansfield, Tx.
The Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

We were so sorry to learn of Roger's passing. He was so much fun over the years,especially at the fire house,with 10,000 grins. Roger and Nancy would always meet you with their great big smiles and always made you feel welcome. Rest in peace old "Chum",you have labored hard. Cathy and I do want to extend our deepest sympathy to Roger's entire family.and know our prayers are with you.

Nancy and Tracy I was so sad to read this this morning. I was just home visiting with mom a couple weeks ago and asked her if she had seen you guys lately. He will be greatly missed! We had some fun times together! Best customers I ever had!!!
