Lola Marie Kelsey

Lola Marie Kelsey, 81, of Warren, PA, passed away on Thursday, Apil 4,2024 at the Warren County Rouse Home.

Lola was born June 5, 1942, in Warren, the daughter of the late Clarence S. and Marie A. Yeagle Johnson. She was a 1960 graduate of Warren High School and was employed at the Warren General Hospital in medical records for many years, from which she retired.

Lola was a lifelong member of the Warren Wesleyan Church where she was very active in the Women’s Programs, hosting dinners, working with the Junior Church, and assisting with mission work. She enjoyed knitting and sharing her wares with family and friends, puzzles and traveling.  Lola especially enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and loved to prepare meals for her family and friends. She will be forever remembered as a very sweet and kind soul.

Lola is survived by her husband, Athur G. Kelsey, whom she married on June 15, 1962; a daughter, Debra M. Kelsey of FL; three sons, Arthur Kelsey, Bejamin Kelsey of FL, and Carl Kelsey and wife Meghan of Warren; ten grandchildren: Geneva, Alivia, Katherine, Elizabeth, Lucerne, Amelia, Haylee, Skylar, Hope, and Symphony and two great grandchildren: Kasyn and Lincoln. A brother, Frank Johnson and wife Vickie of Warren, a sister, Clareen Glarner of Warren, daughter-in-law's, Annette Kelsey and Florence Kelsey in addition several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by two sisters, Liz Holcomb, and Sue Sellars; and two brothers, Dave Johnson and Howie Johnson.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA on Wednesday, April 10, from 6 to 8 pm and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 11, at the Warren Wesleyan Church, 602 Fourth Ave. Warren, PA. Rev. Kyle Pollen and Rev. Carly Moore will co-officiate. at the church
