Shawn C. Gates Dubiel, 48, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA. Shawn was born February 29, 1972, in Warren, PA, the son of Charles Gates and Paula Lynch Gates. He was a lifelong resident of Warren and was a 1993 graduate of Warren Area High School. Shawn enjoyed cooking and worked at a restaurant in Cleveland for 15 years. In addition to his parents, Shawn is survived by a sister, Michele (Leith) Robidoux of Roxbury NH; maternal grandmother, Elaine Roberts, of Warren; aunts and uncles, John and Charlene Sirianni and Robert and Gloria Gates; many cousins; and nieces, Kalie Tremblay and Samantha Tremblay. Shawn is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Otto and Margaret Lynch; and his paternal grandfather, Charles “Bill” Gates. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Scandia Volunteer Fire Department, 5950 Scandia Rd, Russell, PA 16345.

Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss of Shawn. He worked for us for many years at Maple Shade Motocross....he was a good man full of compassion and care for others. We will really miss him.
