I met Ray at Golden Living where my mom is a resident (Marge Mintzer). Ray was a delightful person. I loved talking with him. He liked to take part in some of the activities. I best remember him batting at the balloon during a rousing game of balloon volleyball. I also remember your family coming in and celebrating his birthday with him. I was struck by the warmth and closeness of the family. You were there for him and he knew that. No regrets. I am sure that he felt the love you had for him; we did.

My heart felt sympathy goes out to Linda and the entire Briggs' family as you mourn the passing of your dear loved one. I've had the privilege of working with Linda at IU for many years and she has become a dear friend! I am praying for the presence of the Lord to bring comfort and peace as you remember and celebrate his life today. May his legacy of faith continue to be a blessing to the Briggs' family and all of the lives he touched as he served the Lord on this earth.

Our condolences to the Briggs family. Ray was a friend for many years. If one was to choose a path of how to live your life Raymond Briggs would be the one to follow. He will surely be missed.
