Our deepest sympathies go out to Jason's family. We've had the pleasure of watching Jason grow up in the fire department and become a fine man. He started out as a timid kid and after much teasing, learned to become a chatterbox and kidder like the rest of us. To Ron and I, he was like one of our kids. He will be missed. He struggled so with his health, we all worried about him, but now he is at peace. His life was much too short, but he made a great impact on all of us who knew and loved him and he will be remembered in our hearts always. Our apologies that we won't be there to say goodbye, but we are in Florida on vacation. So long dear friend, you were awesome.

With heart-felt condolences to Jasons personal family and his fire department - Scandia VFD family. His perserveriance, dedication and compassion for those around him and the many jobs he had dedicated himself to doing, will be greatly missed. Everytime I met up with Jason, whether at a parade, fire dept. function, the gas station where he had worked or on an emergency call, he always managed to express an "infectios" smile. Goodbye Jason.
