Robinell J. Grant

Robinell J. Grant, 92, of Russell, PA, a lifelong area resident, passed away on March 29, 2022, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Robinell was born on June 2, 1929, in Akeley, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Julia A. Baker Ellberg. Robinell was a 1947 graduate of high school in Moultrie, GA. She and her family lived in Kinzua prior to the Dam, and was employed as an operator for G.E., Bell Telephone, and later as a seamstress for Levison Brothers. Robinell was a fantastic artist and was well known throughout the area for her work, and had attended the Wiltsie Church in Russell, PA. She will long be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Robinell is survived by her children, Denise Grant of Russell, PA, and Steven Grant and wife Christine of Fredonia, NY; three grandchildren Amanda, David and Robert; three great grandchildren Addison, Daphne and Marlo; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne C. Grant Jr., whom she married on December 25, 1948; a son Robert Grant; an infant daughter Robin Lee Grant; her siblings Lily, Alice, Ernie, Art, Hope, Chan, Earl and Mark.
