Richard L. Dunkle,76, of Warren, Pa., died Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home. He was born September 13, 1944 in Oil City, Pa., he was the tenth of eleven children to the late Ira Ellsworth and Alice Elizabeth (Lockhart) Dunkle.
Throughout his life he was a man of many talents, fixing cars, painting cars, working on home repairs, plumbing, electricity and always willing to help someone else. But children are the ones that will remember him best. Dick always made time for the kids.
He was employed by local 47, of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters, as a registered plumber and he retired in 2000 after 33 years of service. He was also a member for more then 40 years of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitters of America. He was a former member of the Cherry Grove Volunteer Fire Dept. Dick and his wife jointly owned and operated Crystal Creek Mobile Home Park in Sheffield, Pa.
He is survived by three children: Kenneth and his wife Viki of Warren, Pa., Carmen and her husband John of PA, and Rebecca of N.Y. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters Violet Karns and Ruth Anderson.
He was preceded in death by many family members.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Oil City, Pa.
