Peggy L. (Rossman) Haslett

Peggy L. Haslet, 79, of Warren, PA., passed away February 22, 2022, at the Warren General Hospital.

Peg was born on February 25, 1942, in Jamestown, NY., the daughter of the late Harrison and Marie Schatle Rossman. She was a 1960 graduate of Jamestown High School.  Peg was a legal secretary for years and worked at Loranger’s from which she retired. She also worked as a secretary for several years at the First Presbyterian Church, and later at the Hi Ed Council. Peg was a volunteer at the Humane Society. She loved all animals. Peg loved to have fun and brought smiles to everyone around her. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Peg is survived by her children, Steven Johnson and his wife Natalie of Erie, PA., Janet Macintyre of Warren, Pa, Scott Haslet, and his wife Danielle of Billings MT; a brother, Richard “Dick” Rossman of Warren; grandchildren, Natasha Cross and Abigail Johnson, both of Jamestown, NY., and Robert Haslet, Billings MT; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents Peg was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Haslet in 1994; a brother, Jack Rossman; sister, Beverly Purdy; and her beloved cat Lola.

A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date.

The family suggests memorial donations in memory of Peg be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society 2825 Strunk Rd, Jamestown, NY 14701
