Nancy R. Olney

Nancy R. Olney, 82, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Nancy was born on April 30, 1941, in Warren, the daughter of the late Paul and Carolyn Knapp Reynolds. She was a 1959 graduate of Warren High School. She was a receptionist for the U.S. Forest Service from 1965-1997 from which she retired. Following her retirement, Nancy worked as an Assistant Activities Director at Warren Manor, and then as a volunteer at Hospice of Warren County. She was a Certified Master Gardner and loved camping. She enjoyed collecting many items for her hobbies throughout the years. Nancy is survived by her husband Marshall R. Olney, whom she married on October 22, 2011; children, Douglas Schuler of Warren, and Shoobie “Jeanne” West of Clarendon; stepchildren, Marsha Turner of Warren, Laurie Olney of Clarendon, John Olney of Russell, Cindy Tower of Sheffield, and Linda Reed of Shermansdale, PA; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Rev. Martin Reynolds of Mt. Jewett, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her two stepchildren, Kim Schuler and Shannon Hersey; and step granddaughter, Jessica Turner. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at which time a memorial service will be held with pastor Ruth Ann Varrato, Clarendon United Methodist Church, and Reverend Martin Reynolds, officiating.
