Michele "Tubby" M. Wenzel

Michele “Tubby” M. Wenzel, 66, of Russell, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House in Warren, PA. Michele was born on August 25, 1956, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Robert Wenzel Sr. and Shirley (Bartges) Wenzel, who survives. Michele attended Warren High School and worked at Ace Hardware, was a Private Home Healthcare taker, and worked numerous other jobs wherever she was needed. She was a member of the Eagles Club where she formerly worked, was a flower child by heart, had an extreme love for cows and cow memorabilia, enjoyed sewing, and loved her grand dog, a chocolate Lab, Hammi. In addition to her mother, Michele is survived by her children, Jason Wenzel and companion Trish of Russell, Quaker Bateman and husband Robert of Tampa, FL, and Cody Baker of Russell; one grandchild, Makenna Cardinale of Tampa, FL; brother, Robert Wenzel Jr. of Erie, PA; one special niece, Tammy Roth and companion Micah, of Lakewood, NY; best friends, Jennie and Robin Valone; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Michele is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Roth and brother, Tim Wenzel. A Celebration of Life for Michele will be held on August 25, 2023, at the Russell Fire Hall, 66 Perrigo Lane, Russell, PA, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a gathering with food, music, and a bonfire, at 565 Akeley Road, Russell, PA.
