Mary Louise (Hibner) Blick

Mary L. Blick, 90, of Warren, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her home following a recent illness. Mary Louise Hibner Blick was born November 18th,1932 in Warren, PA to William F. and Ella M. Anderson Hibner. Mary graduated from Warren High School in 1951. Mary married Henry F. Blick on September 11, 1952, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Warren, PA. Henry served in the Army and was stationed in Panama where he took his bride. They came back to Warren after her husband was discharged. They had 6 children - David, Dennis, Nancy, Kenneth, Henry F. III (Fred), and Sally. She committed herself to raising her 6 children and was active in her church. Mary loved to sing and was in the choir in church and sang many solos. She also sang for weddings, funerals, and anniversaries. She loved to wallpaper and paint and decorate her home, and she loved to make cookies for her children and grandchildren. Mary was instrumental in helping to get Christian Women's Club of Stone Croft come to Warren and was Chairman for 2 years. She was also in the Lioness Club. She loved the Lord and she and her husband made sure their children went to Sunday school and church. Mary was a Sunday school teacher for many years, a deaconess, and on the music and hostess committees. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the love of her life. She is survived by her children: David Blick and wife Julie Clark Blick of Youngsville, PA, Dennis Blick of New Milford, CT, Nancy Blick Dobson and husband Warren Dobson of Grand Junction, CO, Kenneth Blick of Crescent City, FL, Henry F. Blick III (Fred) of Akeley, PA, and Sally Blick Page and husband Dan Page of Carthage, NC. Also the grandchildren and great grandchildren: Ben and Liz Blick and children Naomi, Judah, Leyna, and Zion; Randi Blick; Nathaniel and Justine Blick and children Aravah and Laurel; Josiah and Kiara Blick and children Ailsa and Asher; Christian Blick; Jamie Blick Andrews and husband Jason and children Sawyer, Finley, and Keene; Jessica Dobson Hamlin and husband Mark and children Kenley and Blake; Craig Dobson and son Liam; Ryan Clark; Step Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren Kristen Page Best and husband Donald and children Alarah, Kai, Tanner and Joseph; Amber Page Merritt and husband Nick and children Emerald and Ellianna; Danielle Page Bearden and husband Matt, and children Kalli, Myla and Elsie; and Daniel Page and wife Zabryna. Nieces and nephews John Hibner and wife Connie, Tom Hibner, Barbara Donham Fletcher and husband Dan, and Brian Donham and wife Kathy. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Hibner, brother Harold and wife Pat Hibner, sister Kathryn and husband Lloyd Fellows, mother-in-law and father-in-law Anna and Henry Blick, sister-in-law Margaret and husband Bob Donham, and daughter-in-law Cheryl Dry Blick. Friends will be received at the Calvary Baptist Church, 445 Conewango Ave., Warren, PA, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held with Reverend Joel Dingeldein, pastor, officiating.
