Margaret “Peggy” H. Skinner, 88, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Warren General Hospital. Peggy was born on June 1, 1934, in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Richard VanTassel and Charlotte Benton VanTassel. She was a graduate of West Springfield, PA. Peggy was a typist for Blair for many years from which she retired in 1996.
Peggy loved reading Danielle Steel novels, crocheting, and knitting. She enjoyed watching the news on tv and was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan. Peggy especially loved visiting with her friends and listening to country music.
Peggy is survived by her children, Sheryl Nosel and husband Dennis of Warren, PA, Sheila Mack of Depew, NY, Brenda Cavallo of Little River, SC, and Jerry Skinner Jr. and companion Lynne Tennyson of Cowpens, SC; sisters Myra Bort of East Springfield, PA, and Diane LePore of Texas, and brother Ronald VanTassel of East Springfield, PA; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her brother William VanTassel and sister Patricia VanTassel.
