Joyce L. Walter

Joyce L. Walter, 82, of Warren, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Warren, PA. Joyce was born on February 18, 1941, in Warren, the daughter of the late David and Florence Hartness Everheart. She was a 1960 graduate of Eisenhower High School. She was employed at the Hatch Patch, given the responsibility of many jobs for 27 years, from which she retired. Joyce’s passion was her love of horses on her farm, BS Ranch, where many neighborhood children would love to come and ride the horses, which brought Joyce so much joy. She also showed horses. She also enjoyed gardening and hunting when she wasn’t taking care of the horses. Joyce is survived by her husband, William Walter, whom she married on August 24, 2011; daughter, Deb Morrison and husband Dallas of Pittsfield; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert “Bob” Spencer; and sister Carol Williams. There will be no service held at this time for Joyce. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 205 Water St., Warren, PA.
