John M. Saylor

John M. Saylor, 88, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. John was born on July 1, 1934, in Warren, the son of the late Stephen Saylor and Mary MacDowell Saylor. John was a 1952 graduate of Warren High School. John sold Aflac Insurance and owned and operated a stained-glass shop in Warren. He went to the First United Methodist Church in Warren, and later was an active member at Lander United Methodist Church. John enjoyed riding his bicycle, one of his great accomplishments was riding across the United States at the age of 60 with his grandson. John had an e-bike that he rode up until a month or so ago. John is survived by his children Stephen Saylor and wife Rita of Honsdale, PA, Tana Emery and husband Dan of Carlisle, PA, John Saylor and wife Kim of Mineral City, OH, Susan Anderson and husband Mike of Wadsworth, OH, and Nicole Whalen and husband Jay of Hermitage, PA; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife Ann Saylor Saulsgiver; and sisters Ann Morrison and Margaret Amadio.
