Joan M. Bailey, 90, of Clarendon, PA, passed away on March 14, 2022, at Warren General Hospital. Joan was born on March 3, 1932, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Claude A. and Bessie M. Byers.
Joan worked at Blair Corporation for over 20 years, from which she retired. After retirement, Joan developed a passion for hummingbirds and flowers, especially red geraniums. She looked forward to Spring every year so that she could tend to them. Joan will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Joan is survived by four children Linda Bailey Waid and husband Timothy, and Diane Brant, both of TX, Kenneth Bailey III, and John T. Bailey, both of Clarendon, PA; one sister Dorothy Johnson of Warren, PA; seven grandchildren and several nieces, and numerous other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bailey Jr. whom she married on July 28, 1951.
A private service at the convenience of the family will be at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Paws Along the River 212 Elm St., Warren, PA.
