Jeanette L. Zurcher

Jeanette L. Zurcher, 77, of 9 Morrison Street, Warren, PA, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April 1st, 2022 with family by her side. Jeanette was born September 25, 1944, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late John J. and Luella C. (Littlefield) Zurcher. Jeanette was a lifelong Warren area resident, and a 1964 graduate of Youngsville High School. She was employed at Warren State Hospital for 30 years, retiring in 1999. Jeanette will be fondly remembered for her love of family. Her favorite past times were spent at the Casino, she extremely enjoyed her many annual family vacations to Florida and her backyard pool where she could spend her days baking in the sun. She had a great love for her 5 fur kitties, Willow, Bud, Mama, Buster, and Squirt. She also loved german shepherds and horses and she was Elvis’s # 1 fan. Jeanette will be forever missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her fiancé Phil Rockwell, Warren. Her twin sisters’ children in which she resided with as they were growing up; four nieces, Kimberly Guthrie Stewart/husband Jason, Warren, Cindy Guthrie/companion Mike Cameron, Warren, Charmane Guthrie Winslow/husband Troy, Warren, Tammy Guthrie Case/husband Chris, Rocky Point, NC.; two nephews, James Guthrie Jr./wife Holly, of Loris, SC, John Guthrie/wife Helen, Warren; six sisters, Diane Guthrie/husband Chuck, Warren, Carol Guthrie/husband Bob, Irvine, PA, Shonda Schrader/husband Ray, Warren, Bonnie Mickleson/husband Steve, Tidioute, Debbie Zurcher, Warren, Donna Spicer/husband Mike, Lander; two brothers Robert Zurcher/wife Mary, Warren, Barry Zurcher/wife Michele, Warren; seven great nieces Amanda/husband AJ, their two sons Nathaniel & Ethan, Carisa/husband Noah their two kids Kalina & Marek, Courtney, her two kids Ganesa & James, Jennifer, Madison & baby Avery, Elisette, Jiordyn; four great nephews Geoffrey & baby Luna, Sheldon, Jeremy, and Brandon; and many, many more, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her twin sister Jane Guthrie and husband James Guthrie Sr in 2017, two brothers, Steven and Jan Zurcher.
