Janet Elaine Eyler

Janet Elaine Eyler, 85, of Warren, PA, and a former resident of Stoney Run, Wrightsville, PA, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Janet was born on November 5, 1937, in Lander, PA, the daughter of the late Carl William Thomas and Golda Mae Brasington Thomas. She was a 1956 graduate of Youngsville High School. She was a CNA at the local nursing homes and also a private duty CNA for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo and spending time with family, and her baby dolls. Janet is survived by her children, Robin Morrison of Clarendon,PA, Ricky Eyler from Princess Anne, MD, Lisa May and husband Thomas from Warren, PA, Amelia Nelson from Warren, PA, Christopher Eyler and wife Sally Jo from Bradford, PA, Thomas Eyler and wife Melissa from Wrightsville, PA, Frances Eyler from Warren, PA, and Brycelynn Glover and spouse Carey from Austin, PA; three special grandchildren that she helped raise, Pete Eyler from Sugar Grove, PA, Trista Cann from Warren, PA, and Skyler Maclees; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death in July 1988 by her husband, Robert M. Eyler, whom she married on September 26, 1962; Sisters, Myrtle, Toni, Hazel, Darlene and Madlyn; brothers, Sam, Bill, and Pete; grandson, Jason Eyler; and great grandson Skyler Maclees Jr. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at which time a funeral service will be held, with Reverend J. Maier, pastor, Warren First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
