James L. Holcomb, 79, of Warren, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. James was born to George and Mary Holcomb on March 17, 1946, in Warren.

James graduated from Warren Area High School in 1964. He joined the workforce, working at United Refinery. James later began working at Erie Plastics in Corry as a manufacturing supervisor where he retired. James also served his country in the National Guard and was extremely proud of his service.

James was a member of the American Legion Post 135 where he enjoyed fellowship with his fellow Veterans. He was a member of the North Star Lodge No. 241 for many years. James being a true outdoorsman spent a good amount of time hunting and fishing.

James is survived by his longtime companion, Alana Hollenbeck of Warren; his son, David Holcomb of Warren; his daughter, Kathy (Tom) Waskiewitz of Union City; his daughter, Kari Holcomb of Warren; and his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Nancy Holcomb of Warren.

James is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. Per James' wishes, there will be no services.
