Helen M. Littlefield, 92, of Tiona, PA, passed away on January 24, 2023, at the Kane Community Hospital following a recent decline.
Helen was born on November 2, 1930, in Owls Nest, PA, the daughter of the late Leo and Goldie (Gibson) Whipple. She was a graduate of Warren High School.
Helen worked for 25 years at the New Process Company as a supervisor. Helen enjoyed traveling out west to Colorado visiting relatives while her husband was hunting. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing solitaire, and volunteering at the Soda Shop at the Warren Manor. Helen was a life member of the Tiona United Methodist Church, and taught Sunday School there. She was a kind, friendly lady, who always had a smile. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Helen is survived by her three children, Shannon Littlefield of Tiona, Darlene Anderson and her husband Terry of Tiona, and Troy Littlefield and wife Tammy also of Tiona; eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother, LaRue Whipple and wife Marie of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Gerry “Skinner” Littlefield whom she married in 1948, who passed away on December 22, 2021; five sons, Terry, Rodney, Gerry, Randall, and Arthur; a daughter-in-law, Susan Littlefield; brother, Dennis Whipple; and sister, Doris Cunningham.
Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and one hour prior to a funeral service which will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11:00am, with Ruth Ann Varrotto, pastor, Tiona United Methodist Church ,officiating assisted by retired pastor, Marty Reynolds.
