Gary Wagner Obituary

Gary E. Wagner, 62, of Pittsfield, PA., passed away on December 28, 2021, at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. from complications of Covid 19. Gary was born in Titusville, PA., on November 26, 1959, the son of the late John B. Wagner and Shirley A. Eilers Wagner, who survives him. Gary was a 1978 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was presently working at Ellwood National Forge and previously a supervisor for 29 years at Blair Corporation in Irvine. He was an avid and exceptional bowler, having bowled a perfect game. He was an accomplished golfer and was a member of the Jackson Valley Golf Club. He enjoyed making and repairing golf clubs. He cared for his wife and daughters three horses. He used to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid Steelers fan. Gary was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Warren. He loved his dog, Lexie. Gary will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. In addition to his mother, Shirley of Ft. Pierce, FL, Gary is survived by his wife, Sharon R. Fuller Wagner whom he married on April 28, 1989; two daughters, Erika A. Grubbs and husband Doug of Spring Creek, PA., Kristie J. Wagner, at home and boyfriend Jimmy Vile; two brothers, Rick L. Wagner, and Ronald J. Wagner and wife Debra of Warren; one sister, Lisa A. Fiorella (Larry) of Vero Beach, FL; nieces and nephews, Alexa Smith (Ryan), Brooke Wagner, Aubrey St. Mary (Paul), Kirstin Wagner, Erin Fiorella; one great niece, Stella Hesch. Gary is also survived by his best friend, Steve Arnold, of Jamestown, NY. Friends and family will be received on Monday January 3, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave E. Warren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of Nazarene, 907 Penna Ave E. Warren, with Rev. J. Maier, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Pittsfield, PA.
