Earlene Marie Peterson

Earlene Marie Peterson, 93, of Sanford, NC, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023. She was born in Warren, the daughter of the late Edward Earl Hanna and Agnes Burgason Hanna. She was a 1946 graduate of Warren High School. She was a former resident of Kinzua, PA who moved to Sanford in 2015 after the passing of her husband Carl Daniel “Gabby” Peterson. She retired from the planning department of The New Process Company. She was a devoted member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children Kathi P. Smith, Craig Douglas Peterson, Shelley P. Nichols, and Scott Edward Peterson; grandchildren Leslie Smith Moshfegh, Carlton Dane Peterson, Nathan Stephen Peterson, Joshua Ross Peterson, and Tamitha May Laramie; and great grandchildren Lila Moshfegh and Dylan Moshfegh. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Parkview Rest and Retirement for the wonderful care given. A Memorial Service for Earlene will be held on September 14, 2023, at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna Ave. E. Warren, PA. Friends may be received from 10:00am to 11:00am at which time a service will be held with the Reverend Jeffrey Ewing, First Lutheran Church, officiating.
