He is also survived by his beloved dog Rosie, who at the dismay of his wife, loved to sit right next to him whenever he was eating and “accidentally” receive table scraps. Spike was known not only as a respected local business owner who liked to give back to his community, but also for his humor and ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. When company visited his home, Spike & his prankster tendencies thoroughly enjoyed filling visitor’s shoes with dog food & lubricating the exterior of car door handles. He enjoyed boating at the Kinzua Dam and hunting with his son Daryl and his daughter. He and his wife loved to go to Stateline Speedway with his sons and grandchildren. Spike would always take time from work to attend every baseball game, softball game, volleyball match, or swim meet of his children and his grandchildren over the years.
