Deborah Stanford Obituary

Deborah A. Stanford of Warren, PA, passed away at her residence on February 17, 2022, following an extended illness. Debi was born on April 26, 1955, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Barbara O’Rourke Stanford. Debi was a 1973 graduate of Meadville High School, and most recently worked in Outpatient Registration at Warren General Hospital for 12 years and was previously employed at Osram Sylvania.

 

Debi was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Warren, PA. She enjoyed crafting, family, and spending time with her grandbabies.

 

Debi is survived by her wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Stanton whom she married in 2014; five children, Sheree Blair of Warren, PA, Jason Blair and wife Heather of Butler, PA, Jon McMillen of Warren, PA, Stephanie Ferrie and husband Jon of Scandia, PA, Charlie Stanton and girlfriend, Shy Matsock of Warren, PA; father in law Raymond “Zeke” Stanton of Russell, PA;  a brother Norman Perkins of Rhode Island; a brother in law, Michael Stanton and wife Jennifer of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her mother and two stepfathers Norman Perkins Sr. and Herbert Stanford, Debi is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Nancy Stanton, brother Michael Perkins, and an infant daughter Kimberly Blair.

 

Family and friends will be received on Thursday February 24, 2022, at the First Lutheran Church in Warren, PA, from 10 to 11am, at which time a memorial service will be held with The Reverend Jeffrey Ewing, officiating.

 

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Warren, 1 Main Ave. Warren, PA and to Scandia Volunteer Fire Department 5950 Scandia Road Russell, PA.
