Yovonne Ilona Vitez Conklin, 62, of Pittsfield, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at her home.  Yovonne was born December 22, 1954, in Youngstown, OH. She is the daughter of the late Stephen William and Shirley A. (McCoy) Vitez.

Yovonne attended Warren Area High School.  She had worked at Red Barn and later at Lorangers for many years.  Among her favorite pastimes were watching movies, drawing cartoon characters, playing board games and listening to music.  Her cats were very special to her, too.

She is survived by two children, Melody Conklin, of Sinking Spring, PA, and Patrick Conklin, and wife, Sara, of Utah; two siblings, James Vitez, and wife, Susan, of Warren, and Debra Vitez, of Florida; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her devoted companion, Dayle.

In addition to her parents, Yovonne was preceded in death by her husband, Terrance Conklin; and three infant siblings.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Thursday, December 21, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time a memorial service will be held there with Rev. Todd Venman, pastor, Wiltsie Community Church, officiating.
