William Dodd Mathers, 63, of Warren, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Warren General Hospital.  William was born March 28, 1954, in McKeesport, PA. He was the son of the late William D. and Ann M. (Smith) Mathers.

William owned and operated a carpet sales and installation business in the Warren area for many years.  He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.  William also enjoyed ice cream and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Autumn Highhouse, and husband, Michael, and Ashley Taraska, and husband, Michael, both of Warren;  his former wife, LuAnn, of Warren; one sister, Ellie Miller, of West Newton; a brother-in-law, Edward Ferree, of West Newton, PA; two grandchildren, Haley and Bella; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by three siblings, Kathy Ferree, Mary Ripani, and Bobby Mathers.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at the First Lutheran Church, 109 W. 3rd Ave, Warren, on Saturday, November 25, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
