William J. Leonard, 64, of Dutchman Run Road, Stoneham, PA, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 31, 2015.

Bill was born March 16, 1950. in Jamestown NY , the son of the late William H. (Ted) and Elizabeth S. (Libby) Ferry Leonard. Bill was a lifelong resident of Stoneham and a graduate of Warren Area High School. He spent a career as a union carpenter and formally worked at the Lewis Market, among other jobs. Bill was a master craftsmen, he enjoyed woodworking, kiln drying his own wood, loved shopping for and building his own tools. He made many collectable items and bowls from burl that he located locally. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and "hoopie" riding in the woods. He also enjoyed old guitars and old country music. He was a former member of the Eagles and the Elks clubs.

Bill is survived by his wife Kathie M. Yoxtheimer Leonard; a son Troy D. Wagner and his wife Anne, Warren PA.; and daughter, Missy Pollack and her husband Georage, of Erie Pa; a brother, Emory Leonard of Grunderville PA; a sister Joyce Mucha and her husband Bud of Fairview PA; four grandchildren, Jaime Brenner, and her husband Chris, Union City, Erin Reed and her husband Jason also of Union City; Meagan Thrush and her husband Brad, of Dayton Ohio, and Tyler Wagner and his wife Emily, Warren PA; five great grandchildren, Gwendalyn Reed, Steven Reed, Kaleigh Brenner, Kennady Brenner and Alexis Thrush;  his nieces and nephews, Kim Green, Kris Keller, Beth McCullough, Jeff Leonard, Dawn Jacobs, Robert Johnson, Emma Harper, David Sauls, Kathy Martin, and Chrissy Martin; and his canine companion, Macie Marie.

In addition to his parents,  Bill was preceded in death by a sister Hulda M. "Lammy" Leonard; three sister in laws, Sylvia Leonard, Sandra Johnson, Brenda Harper; and a brother in law, Edgar F Yoxtheimer III.

Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home Inc, 1003 Penna. Ave E., Warren, PA, on Tuesday, February 3rd from 5 to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 4th, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Marcus Briggs, pastor, Warren General Hospital, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Warren County Memorial Park.
