Obituary

William Michael Laird, 60, of Bradford, PA, passed away on December 7, 2021, at Buffalo General Hospital, following a recent illness.

Bill was born on November 13, 1961, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Ellis S. and JoAnn M. Swiderski Laird. His last place of employment was at the Bradford YMCA. Bill enjoyed watching and playing golf, boating, four wheeling and playing with his nieces and nephews. Bill loved being an uncle and attended all of his niece's and nephew's sporting activities, where he assisted in coaching. He loved animals especially his dogs. He enjoyed his little buddy and nephew Elijah. Bill moved to Bradford to live close to his niece and her husband, Kira and Brian Schine, and their children. He was known as "Uncle Bill" to everyone and he will be missed dearly.

Bill is survived by his siblings, Theodore Laird of Erie, Pa., Yvonne Wonderling of Warren, Pa., Shannon (Cindy) Michael of New Jersey, and Ralph (Lori) Chew of Chrisney, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Charlene Ibbs.
