William John Curtis, 75, of Tiona, PA, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Warren Manor. Bill was born March 12, 1948, in Warren, the son of the late Forest and Mary (Graham) Curtis. Bill was enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969 during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Struthers Wells Co. as a welder for 26 years. Bill enjoyed the casino and spending time with family, he was affectionately known as "Papa." Bill is survived by his children, Mark Curtis and companion Julie Dunham of Warren, Michael Curtis and companion Alexis Hoak of Tiona, and Melinda Curtis of Sheffield, grandchildren, Kyle Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Mark Jr. Curtis, Jeremy Thompson, Kayla Feidler, Colton Thompson, Alex Curtis, Preston Curtis, Nathan Curtis, and Kirk Zofcin Jr., Titus Hoak; great grandchildren, Landon Thompson, Elora Curtis, Madilynn Thompson, Eli Feidler, and two more on the way; sister, Susan Redfield of Russell; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death on December 9, 2011, by his wife, Deborah Donaldson Curtis, whom he married on March 25, 1972; sister Georgie McGregor; and stepfather, Paul McClain. A Memorial service for Bill will be held at Sheffield Lions Club, 4 S. Main St., Sheffield, PA, on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
