Valarie Peck, 63, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, surrounded by love, leaving behind a family and community who will miss her deeply every single day.

She was born on June 27, 1962, in Dunkirk, New York. 

She was the kind of person whose presence could fill a room instantly. Whether it was through her contagious laugh that everyone recognized immediately or her ability to make people feel seen, loved, and welcome, she had a way of bringing warmth and light wherever she went. She was truly one of a kind.

To know her was to love her. She was strong, compassionate, funny, generous, and endlessly supportive to the people lucky enough to have her in their lives. She gave her love freely and completely, and her family was always at the center of her world. Her kindness, strength, and unforgettable spirit left a lasting mark on everyone she met.

She is survived by her mother, Diana Peck, and her partner, Walt Cook; her daughters, Melissa Gauntner and her partner Sabino Davila; Noelle Greene and her husband Jason Greene. She is also survived by her sisters, Vickie Peck and her spouse Mitch Johnston; Suzanne Kitelinger, and her spouse Jeff Ferrebee; her grandchildren, Logan Gauntner and Chandler Greene; and her nieces Jennifer Logan and Olivia (Lydia) Kitelinger as well as numerous extended family members and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Peck.

Although our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for the memories, laughter, lessons, and love she gave us throughout her life. Her voice, her laugh, and the way she made people feel will stay with us forever.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. In lieu of a traditional funeral service, the family will hold a celebration of life in July, with details to be announced at a later date.
