Thomas Samuel Braley Jr., 46, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away on Saturday July 2, 2022, at his residence. Tom was born on June 22, 1976, in Jamestown, NY, the son of Thomas S. Braley Sr. and Denise M. Maine Braley. Tom was a 1994 graduate of Warren Area High School. He worked as a service technician. He attended the Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church. Tom was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed being in the outdoors where he loved to hunt, fish, and camp. In addition to his parents, Tom is survived by his two daughters, Taylor M. Braley and Caidence L. Braley, both of Russell, PA; brothers Keith M. Braley and fiancé Tessa of Randolph, NY, and Bryan H. Braley and wife Amanda of Kennedy, NY; in laws Gary and Karen Swanson of Russell, PA; nieces and nephews Chloe, Connor, Hunter, Patrick, and Carson Braley, and Aubrey and Ashton Carrington. Tom is preceded in death by his wife whom he married on September 21, 2002, Melissa Swanson Braley, who passed on May 26, 2013; maternal grandparents Norma Maine and Eugene Slack, and fraternal grandparents Samuel and Rita Braley. Friends will be received on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, 210 Jamestown St. Sugar Grove PA, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at which time a funeral service will be held with the retired Reverend Billy Hughes, officiating. A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at the Sugar Grove Fire Hall, 27 Wilson St. Sugar Grove, PA, immediately following the church service.
