Theodore R. Wiltsie, 91, of Yankee Bush Road, Warren, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Ted was born on October 31, 1927, in Fentonville, N.Y., the son of the late William and Thelma (Edquist) Wiltsie. Raised on the farm in Fentonville, Ted then joined the U.S. Navy. He trained at the Great Lakes Naval Center, and then was stationed throughout his service as an airplane mechanic, stationed in Pensacola, FL, during WWII. Ted then worked at the New Process Company for thirty-two years, in maintenance in Warren, and in shipping and returns in Irvine, from which he retired. He was a member of the Frewsburg, NY VFD, and a social member of the Starbrick VFD. Ted attended the Emanuel Baptist Church. He was a hard working and busy man who loved the outdoors, taking care of his property, hunting and bird watching. He loved his family and friends, and especially his grandchildren. Ted is survived by three children, Tim Wiltsie and wife Deb, of Warren, Beth Wiltsie, of Warren, and Corey Wiltsie, of New Buffalo, PA; two sisters, Helen Park, of Kiantone and Ocala Fl, Mary Himes, of Frewsburg, NY; one brother, Ernest Wiltsie and wife Bee, of Fentonville, NY; three grandchildren, Greg Wiltsie, Dan Wiltsie, and Samantha Kitchen; two great grandchildren, Levi and Conor Libby; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife, Joanne Franklin Wiltsie, whom he married on October 3, 1959; a son, Todd Wiltsie in 2017; and two brothers, David and William Wiltsie. Friends will be received at the Emanuel Baptist Church, 168 Weiler Road, Warren, PA, on Friday, November 16, from 6 to 7 pm, at which time a memorial service will be held, with Rev. Don Wells, pastor, officiating. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association: Greater Pennsylvania Chapter - Erie Office, 4261 1600 Peninsula Dr suite 15, Erie, PA 16505
