Terry Lee Caldwell, 69, of Warren, died suddenly as the result of an accident on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his home. Terry was born September 16, 1948, in Warren, PA. He is the son of Edna (Sullivan) Caldwell, of Edinboro, and the late Robert Caldwell.
Terry was a 1966 graduate of Youngsville High School and attended Edinboro University before enlisting in the US Navy. He served as a Chief Machinist Mate for six years and then served in the US Navy Reserves for an additional 14 years.
He was employed by Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CBI) as a Senior Cost Estimator, from which he never planned to retire, as he loved working so much. His love of work also included meticulously detailing cars and working on projects in-and-around his home with his dogs. He was a member of the Joseph Warren Lodge #726 Free and Accepted Masons.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 48 years, Kay Lynn (Schaffer) Caldwell; and two daughters, Tracy Weaver, and her husband, Jeff, of Virginia Beach, VA, and Kelly Caldwell, and her companion, Matt Colvin, of Warren; one sister, Shirley, of Edinboro; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Ray.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Monday, April 2, for one hour prior to a memorial service to be held there at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating. Military honors will be presented by members of the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard.
