Sylvia D. Rozzelle, 94, of Russell passed away at Warren General Hospital
on October 16, 2025. Sylvia was born to the late Frank and Mary Lukac on
October 7, 1931. Sylvia grew up in Cleveland, graduating from South High
School before starting her career as a bookkeeper.
Sylvia married the love of her life, Carl Rozzelle, in November of 1951, and cherished
every moment with him. Carl survives at home.
Sylvia was an avid chef and baker. She was well known for her cakes and
for showing her love through her food, making everyone smile at meal time.
Sylvia loved to garden and enjoyed being able to cultivate ingredients for
her cooking. Sylvia liked to marvel at all the different types of chickens and
species at various poultry shows. Bocce ball kept Sylvia moving, keeping
her competitive spirit alive into her later years.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Carl, and their son, Jeffrey Rozzelle.
Sylvia also leaves many loved nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.

Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Ave. East Warren, PA 16365. Per Sylvia's
wishes there will be no public services.
