Susen Rae Gebhardt, 68, of Warren, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Susen was born October 7, 1946, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and M.Joyce (Simpson) Johnson. Susen was a 1964 graduate of Warren High School. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. A woman of many hobbies; she enjoyed quilting, embroidery, knitting and baking. Susen also enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach and boating. Most importantly, she loved her animals, her family, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald N. Gebhardt; three children, Heidi Sanders, and husband, Steve, of Greencastle, PA, Bobbi Edstrom, and significant other, Sean Greenway, of Kinder, LA, and Shawn Gebhardt, and significant other, Bobi Highhouse, of Warren, PA; two step-children, Donald Gebhardt and Chrystal Whitmore, both of Jamestown, NY; one sister, Constance Johnson, and wife, Suellywn Stewart, of Columbus, OH; and one brother, James Johnson, of Warren, PA. She also has twelve grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sharon Johnson. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr., Warren, PA with The Rev. Sue Scofield, lead pastor, and The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, co-officiating.
