Susan L. Kern, 60, of Warren, passed away on March 26, 2020, at her home. Susan was born on March 1, 1960, in Allentown, PA, to the late Hobart M. Kern Jr. and Grace (Neuman) Kern, who survives. Susan was a 1978 graduate of Warren High School. She worked for Warren County Health and Human Resources for 30+ years, from which she retired in 2017. Susan was a member of the Warren Women's Moose Club. She enjoyed boating, camping and the outdoors. She was an enthusiastic cross-stitcher and loved to read. Susan was also an ardent cat lover. In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by her siblings, Hobart (Lee) Kern of Greenville, NC, John Kern of Cary, NC, and Barbara Kern of Buffalo, NY; along with her niece, Jessica Kern, of Morristown, TN. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. It has been requested that memorial contributions be made to Paws Along the River Humane Society of Warren.
