Susan E. "Cookie" Britton, 75, of Warren, PA died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Warren General Hospital.  Susan was born May 4, 1940, in Brookville, PA.  She was the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Park) Steele.

Susan was a graduate of North Clarion High School.  She had most recently worked as a nurse's aide at the Warren Manor and Snyder Memorial Home.   Susan was a member of the former Epworth United Methodist Church, Eagle's Club and American Legion.  Susan's family will always remember her love of flea markets, yard sales and auctions.

She is survived by four children, William Pfendler, of Leeper, Bradley Pfendler, of Scranton, Amy Muscaro, of Warren, and Brian Pfendler of Marienville; two grandchildren, Jessica and Kristen Muscaro; three siblings, Betty Slocum, of Gilmer, TX, Joyce Simonsen, of Warren, and Steve Steele, and wife, Jeanne, of Lucinda; her dog, Peppy; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Hummel.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Sunday, May 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Monday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain, Warren General Hospital and Rouse Home, officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Brookville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
