Shirley Herald Yeager of Warren, PA, passed into the Lord's hands on Monday, June 20, 2016. Shirley was born February 29, 1928 in Butler, PA, daughter of Ethel (McCandless) Herald and Earl F. Herald and sister to Lucille Henderson who preceded her in death. In 1945, after growing up in Bulter, PA, she attended Penn State University where she majored in Chemical Engineering. Upon returning to Butler, she was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church, Butler Chapter #45 of Order of Eastern Star, a member and past president of the Junior Woman's Club, and a member of the Tuesday Musical Club. Shirley was the widow of William E. Yeager, Jr. They were married January 12, 1962. After moving to Warren, she was active in the Philomel Club; serving as president for 3 years, The Women's Club; serving as Treasurer, A Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, she was also a member of the First Lutheran Church, The Warren Historical Society, and the Chautauqua Opera Guild. Surviving are five Children: Christine Nordenson of Eugene, OR, Zeno Henninger of Brunswick, ME, John Henninger of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Rudd of Panton, VT, and Emily Yeager of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by three granddaughters and a grandson. A private service will be held by the family. Memorials can be made to the First Lutheran Church of Warren, PA or the Women's Club of Warren, PA.
