Sheila G. VanGelder, 68, of Warren, passed away on October 30, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, in Erie, PA following a recent illness.

Sheila was born on March 25, 1953, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Alice Slack Eagan. She was a 1971 graduate of Warren Area High School, and then worked at Warren General Hospital as a Ward Clerk and later a press operator at Loranger International for many years, from which she retired. Sheila was a member The Parkinson's support group of Warren and a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church. Sheila was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her

Sheila is survived by her two children; Ann VanGelder and Arron VanGelder both of Warren, two sisters; Mary (Martin) Brocklehurst of Grove City, Pa., Katrina (Paul) Adametz of Seven Fields, Pa, two grandchildren; Alex and Liam VanGelder and four nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her step-father Joe and her mother Alice Eagan.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
