Sharyn Maxine Stone, 75, of Warren, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2021. Sharyn was born on July 8, 1945, the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie (Larsen) Stone of Warren, PA. A lifelong resident of Warren, Sharyn graduated from Warren Area High School as part of the class of 1963. She was a faithful member of the First Lutheran Church, Warren, PA. Her employment included numerous local banks, State Farm Insurance, Blair New Process Co., Bilo Supermarket and Warren General Hospital. She served as her children's "Classroom Mom" at Market Street school providing treats and surprises at every holiday. She enjoyed watching tv and movies. Her hobbies were gardening, reading and crafts including sewing, embroidery, and ceramics. She spent time horseback riding and roller/ice skating. She was a talented cook, and many praised her Sunday night spaghetti dinners. Time with her family was always special and she took great pride in the achievements of her children and grandchildren. She greatly missed her favorite pets, Bobby and Abigail, that we're certain she was reunited with on Tuesday night. Sharyn is survived by her son, Charles and wife Anna Howe of Moseley, VA.; daughters, Michele (Howe) Mascia and Allison Howe of Mt. Pocono, PA; grandchildren, Nicholas Howe, Erin Howe, Miranda Mascia and Amber Mascia; beloved sisters, Sandra (husband David) Lee and Charlette Russell; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who were like family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Theodore (Ted) Russell. The family will receive friends at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10 am until 11 am, at which time a funeral service to be held there at 11 am, with Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, First Lutheran Church, officiating.
