Sharyn L. Engle, 68, of Pleasantville, PA,  died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at her residence.  Sharyn was born May 20, 1947, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Kathryn (Bullock) Steele.

Sharyn was a 1965 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was later a  resident of both the Warren and Titusville area. Sharyn was employed by the Penn Bank and Integra Bank, ultimately retiring as a manager of the Warren East Side National City Bank, and also served as a banking instructor. She was a member at the American Institute of Banking. Sharyn enjoyed stamping, crafting greeting cards, knitting, crossword puzzles, and her cats. She will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman, who always had a smile on her face.  She cherished time with her family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband, David R. Engle, Pleasantville,  whom she married November 9, 1968; and her mother-in-law, Jean Engle of Youngsville, and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father in law, Robert Engle.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren Thursday, August 13 from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, August 14, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Ave., Warren, from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 100 West Station Square Drive, Suite 1900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or Paws Along The River, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365, or to a Humane Society of your choice.
