Sarah Louise Chase, 91, of Warren, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Rouse Home. Sarah was born March 15, 1924 in Fairfield, CT. She is the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Annie (Decker) Perkins. She was a 1942 graduate Sigel High School. Sarah enjoyed her home, feeding and watching the wildlife, quilting, card club with her husband of 62 years, and especially enjoyed her family, her friends, and her church. She is survived by her husband, Albert C. Chase, whom she married on April 18, 1953, in Mt Jewett, PA; three daughters: Annie Cook (Walter) of Sheffield, PA, Rayetta Freeman (Fred) of Warren, PA, Linda Blum (Ken) of Sheffield, PA; and two sons, Donald Chase of Seguin, TX, David Chase (Cynthia) of Chesapeake, VA; one sister, Alice Fulton (Larry) of Shippenville, PA. She also has thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friends, whom they considered family, Luis and Debbie Lupnitz, of Conroe TX, and their three children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Chase in 1972; her sister, Bertha Green; a grandson, Adam Chase; four brothers, Harold, Clifford, Raymond and Henry Perkins; and daughter in law, Karen Chase. Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Sunday, September 20, from 5-8 pm. and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at the Warren Alliance Church on Monday, September 21, at 11 am, with Rev. Jon Meyer, pastor, Scandia Covenant Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sheffield Cemetery, Sheffield In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Warren Unit, 2 Crescent Park West, Warren, PA 16365 or the Scandia Covenant Church, 18 Peterson Road, Russell, PA 16345.
