Sandra Teresa Smith, 85, of Warren, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her family. Sandy was born April 20, 1938, in Warren, the daughter of the late Joseph F. Duffy and Marcella A. Wooster Duffy. She was employed as site supervisor at the Conewango Towers for 33 years. She also cooked and provided meals for the Meals on Wheels program. She was a member of the Eagles Club #313, and former member of the Moose Lodge #109. She enjoyed embroidery, cooking, and baking, and especially loved being with her family. Sandy is survived by her children, Gayle Hill and husband Mike, of Mansfield, PA, Kevin Smith of Warren, Shelly Moore and husband Greg, of Blossburg, PA, and Christine Smith of Warren; grandchildren, Kevin Hill and wife Jessica, Christopher Hill and fiancé Darnell, Jamie Hill, Mikaela Smith; great grandchildren, Joey Violet Hill, Charlee Nora Hill, and Cooper Michael Hill; siblings, Robert Duffy and wife Patricia of Warren, and Kay Beckman and husband Ellsworth of Bath, NY; brothers-in-law, Don Smith and wife Bev, and Dick Smith and wife Donna; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandy is preceded in death on January 24, 2018, by her husband, Gail N. Smith, whom she married July 21, 1956; granddaughter, Sara Smith; siblings, William Johnson, Elizabeth Mascaro, Marilyn Smith, Patricia Duffy, and Joseph "Bud" Duffy Jr. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, at which time a service will be held with Reverend Bill Beatty, pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Sandy may be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave., Warren, PA.
