Samuel Lewis Johnson, 35, of Warren, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2021 at his residence. Sam was born on August 11, 1986, in Warren, to the late James R. and Sharon M. Johnson. A lifelong Warren resident, Sam was a 2005 graduate of Warren Area High School. Sam was employed at Cummings Engine. He was an Eagle Scout, and enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and hanging out with his dog Max. Sam especially loved his wife and children. Sam is survived by his wife, Amelia L. Thompson Johnson whom he married on October 17, 2020, two daughters, Kaylynn and Bailee Johnson, both at home, a sister, Joyce (Dan Clever) Johnson of Warren, a brother, Carl Johnson of Warren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday, November 19, from 2 thru 4 pm at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna Ave, E. Warren. A Funeral service will be held there at 4 pm with The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, First Lutheran Church, officiating.
