Samuel Patrick James, 43, of Hemlock Drive, Port Allegany, PA, and formerly of Warren, PA, died Monday, July 22, 2013, as a result of a heart attack.

Sam was born July 13, 1970, in Warren, the son of Richard and the late Corrie James. He was a 1988 graduate of Warren Area High School and served as a weatherman in the U.S. Navy from 1988-1999. Sam was currently employed at Time Warner in Coudersport.

Sam was a sharp guy with a very dry wit, he enjoyed hunting, photography, golf, computers, wood and metal working. He spent many weekends with his father in their shop working on various projects.

He is survived by his two children, Blake James and Megan James, his father Richard R. James of Warren, one brother David P. Crossley and his wife Becky, two sisters Julie James Gallion and her husband Andy and Ann B. Crossley

Sam was preceded in death by his mother in 2009.

Friends will be received at the family home, 999 Follett Run Road, Warren, PA on Saturday August 10, 2013 from 1 to 4 pm.
