Russell Harris Berkhous, 66, of Russell, PA, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his residence. Russ was born May 16, 1957, in Corry, PA, the son of the late Charles R. and Marion I. (Chase) Berkhous. He attended Corry High School, and then served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years. Russ was later employed at the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 2016. Russ was a former member of the Corry Legion. He enjoyed camping in the RV, four wheeling, spending time on the river, kayaking, and was an avid bowler. He loved spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren. Russ is survived by his wife, Tena L. (Lobdell) Berkhous, whom he married in 1996; children, Michael J. Riche Jr. of Warren, Christopher A. (Alexia) Riche of Russell, Ryan F. (Amber) Berkhous of Laingsburg, MI, Amy E. (Flip) Salusky of Corry, and Tab A. (Leah) Berkhous of Warren; nine grandchildren; siblings, Catherine Willis of Elgin, PA, Georgia (Johnny) Hawkins of Virginia, Eugina (John) Bensink of Clymer, NY, Vicki Edwards of Corry, Jacqueline Berkhous of Corry, Kenneth (Ann) Berkhous of Columbus, and Michael (Artica) Berkhous of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held with Reverend Bill Beatty, pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
