Roy Everett Foust, 71, a lifelong area resident of Warren, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Warren General Hospital.

Roy was born on December 2, 1954, in Warren, the son of the late Merle E. and Elizabeth (Baughman) Foust. He was a 1973 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was employed at Rexnord for many years and then at Betts Industries for several years from which he retired.

Roy enjoyed working, motor sports, and especially loved being social and hanging around people.

Roy is survived by his wife, Cenci L. (Adams) Foust, whom he married in 1978; three children, Michael Adams of Warren, Ayreal Shafer of Warren, and Rita Benson of Bear Lake; three grandchildren, Dominic Benson, Drake Benson, and Dawson Benson; siblings, Floyd Foust of Warren, Gary Foust and wife Janis of Erie, and Kay Lyon and husband Gary of Pittsfield; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Foust.
