Obituary

Ronald D. Trawick, 80, of Warren,  died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center of Erie, PA.

Ron was born September 19, 1933 in Warren, PA, the son of the late Fred and the late Violet Moore Trawick.  A lifelong area resident, Ron attended the Warren High School, and then served in the US Navy aboard the USS Baltimore during the Korean War. Ron owned and operated Trawick's Barber Shop in Warren for over fifty years. He was a member of the North Star Lodge  241, Free and Accepted Masons, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Coudersport Consistory,  the Moose Lodge 109, the  Fraternal Order of Eagles 313, life member of the VFW Post 631, was a life member of the American Legion post 135, and a life member of the Pine Grove Sportman's Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a Master Gardener.  Ron especially enjoyed his family and his grandchildren's activities.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Bonnie Tremblay Trawick, whom he married on March 8, 1983;  two daughters, Rhonda Narlee and husband  Ron of Warren, PA, Kim Leach and husband Michael of Sugar Grove, PA; one son, Ron Trawick and wife Tammy of Sugar Grove, PA;  two sisters,  Loretta Farr of Youngsville, PA, and Elizabeth Dangel and husband Dan; Beckley, West Virginia. He also survived by nine grandchildren, Amanda Tower (James), Jessie Hurley (Mandi), Paul Leach (Megan), Jeniffer Leach, Mallory Coan (John), Courtney Trawick, Aaron Trawick, Elijah Trawick, and Hunter Trawick; five great grandchildren, David Tower, Phoebe Tower, Bryson Hurley, Addison Leach, Gabriel Leach, and a great grandson due in September.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday, August 20, from 4 to 7 pm. A funeral will be held there at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 21, with Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain, Warren County Rouse Home and Warren General Hospital, officiating. Members of the North Star Lodge  #241,  will conduct  a memorial service at 7 pm Wednesday.

Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park, with Full  Military Honors provided by the Sheffield and Clarendon VFW  and active duty US Navy

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charity of choice.
