Rolland "Dale" Hillard, 87, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016.  Dale was born July 1, 1929, in Warren, PA. He was the son of the late Rolland R. and Mildred T. Hillard, who passed away in 1930 at the age of 18.

At age 13, Dale went to live with his beloved uncle and aunt, Ellwood and Holley Hillard, in Youngsville, PA.  He was a 1947 graduate of Youngsville High School, and then served in the US Navy from 1947 to 1951.  In 1955, he graduated from Jamestown Business College and then went to work at Integra Bank and National City Bank, from which he retired in 1995.

He is survived by his brother, George, and wife, Jane, of Seneca; sister, Lynna Eaton, of RI; several nieces and nephews; and will also be missed by his dog, Mandy.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death on December 13, 2008, by his wife, Nancy Laura Hillard; his brother, James.

In accordance with Dale's wishes, there will be no visitation or a funeral.  A graveside service will be held at Youngsville Cemetery on Wednesday, December 21, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Madeline S. Edwards, pastor, Emanuel United Church of Christ, officiating.  Military honors will be provided by members of the Youngsville American Legion.
