Rodney Norman Boschert, 63, of Kane, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. Rod was born on September 10, 1954, in Kane, PA. He is the son of the late Norman and June Bryington Boschert. Rod was a 1972 graduate of Kane High School. He studied Computer Science at Pitt Bradford where he received his associate's degree and then continued onto Mansfield University where he earned his B.S. in Computer Science. He worked for Kane Magnetics / Stackpole for many years. He was currently employed at Ellwood National Crankshaft. Rod enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest passions were his family, especially his grandchildren, and camping. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rod is survived by his wife Jacqueline McLaughlin Boschert, whom he married September 20, 1980; his son Tom Boschert and wife Tessa, of Kane, PA: a brother, Brian Boschert and his wife Diane, of Russell, PA; two grandchildren Tysin and Terin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by a sister Peggy Boschert Rolick on September, 2017. A Celebration of Life service will  be held ar 1:00 pm on Saturday February 17,2018, at the Presbyterian Church of Kane, 103 Greeve's Street, Kane, PA.
