Rodney R. Anderson, 66, passed away on March 25, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA., surrounded by his loving family.

Rod was born on March 2, 1956, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Raymond Anderson and Maxine Uplinger Anderson.

As a lifetime truck driver he began his career driving coal trucks with his father. He continued his driving career at Crossett Inc. for several years and was later employed by Advantage Tanklines for the remainder.

He was a member of the Eagles Club of Warren. In his free time he enjoyed drag racing, Nascar, fishing, hunting, and flying airplanes. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Rod is survived by his wife, Brenda M. Martin Anderson, whom he met in 1995 and married in 2000; children Michele Anderson and husband Adam Charney of Phoenix, AZ, LaRenda Martin of Warren, PA, Lindsay Anderson of Warren, PA, Sheanna Anderson of Warren, PA; sisters Cheryl Ramirez and husband John of the Dominican Republic and Donna Evans of Starbrick, PA, brother Duane Anderson and wife Robin of Warren, PA; grandchildren Hadley Madara (Lindsay), Tayton, Zerick, and Zayla Jackman (LaRenda); and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Rod is preceded in death by sisters Dianna Anderson, Julie Anderson and an infant daughter Melinda Anderson.

Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on March 31st from 10am to 12pm at which time a funeral service will be held with The Reverend J. Maier, pastor, First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
